Nir Shalom, CEO of floLIVE, is a seasoned leader in the global telecommunications industry and executive with extensive experience overseeing and managing large technological organizations. Nir joined floLIVE after serving as General Manager of AT&T Israel and Vice President of Network Application Development of AT&T. In these roles he managed a technology and software development team of over 1,000 employees worldwide. Prior to AT&T, he has led European, Middle Eastern, and Asian operations for Interwise, a global provider of voice, video and web conferencing solutions. Nir holds a BSc in Industrial science and MBA in Finance from Ben Gurion University.

With twenty-five years in technology marketing, including eighteen focused exclusively on the Internet of Things (IoT), she has a track record of delivering strong double-digit growth. Fluent in the entire IoT technology stack, with experience marketing hardware, connectivity and SaaS to myriad industry verticals, Sara has worked in both start-up and large enterprise environments. Over her career, she’s boosted the profile and, more importantly revenue, of organizations big and small; public, private and not-for-profit.

Curtis Govan serves as floLIVE’s President, North America. He is an accomplished leader with 25+ years of broad experience and expertise in technology leadership, business development and sales. He was most recently the GM/Global VP Dealer and Heavy Equipment for Uptake, an industry leader in industrial artificial intelligence and IoT. Prior to joining Uptake, Curtis spent almost 12 years with Cisco Jasper where he held several roles with the most recent being Head of Global Sales Business Development and Regional Managing Director – Canada.

floLIVE’s co-founder, Rony Cohen leads the company’s global business development activities and strategy. He’s an experienced telecom executive and serial entrepreneur who has held senior positions in established multinational firms and has founded several successful mobile phone and M2M-related businesses. Rony’s previous positions include serving as CEO of Marathon Telecom, as Director of 018 Xfone, and Telecom Director at Equator Investments. He holds a degree from the European Business School.

CFO

Kobi Carlebach brings more than 20 years of financial experience to Flolive, having recently served as chief financial officer at Glassbox, where he led multiple fundraising rounds and was instrumental in facilitating acquisitions of several complementary technology firms. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer of harmon.ie, a cutting-edge AI-based SaaS company. Carlebach is highly regarded for his strategic use of technology and insights to optimize revenue engines and for building data-based modeling and business intelligence to inform capital strategy.

Senior VP for Asia Pacific and Africa

Chen Porat serves as floLIVE’s Senior VP for Asia Pacific and Africa, running the company’s business operations in these regions. Chen has vast experience in executive sales and general management positions from large global enterprises and innovative startups. Prior to floLIVE, he was an entrepreneur at NICE, establishing its cellular network optimization unit and successfully selling it and joining NOKIA. In his last position, Chen served Qognify, which was acquired by Hexagon AB, as General Manager of its Enterprise Incident Management unit. Prior to that, he held various executive roles at Comverse, VocalTec and Nova. Chen holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Luigi Capobianco serves as floLIVE’s Senior VP for Europe and The Middle East. He is responsible for overseeing and leading the company’s sales operations, playing a key role in driving growth and expanding the company’s footprint in these regions. Luigi has vast experience in executive sales and engineering positions in the IoT space – he previously led sales efforts for 1NCE, oversaw IoT solutions at Vodafone and brings IoT application and sensor expertise in the oil and gas sector. Holding both a BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Luigi brings a strong technical background to complement his strategic vision, making him a valuable asset in driving floLIVE’s business expansion.

At floLIVE, Gamly leads the company’s global operations and drives highly complex activities in carrier integration, global network infrastructure, IT, DevOps, and customer services. His extensive experience and expertise enable him to effectively manage and optimize floLIVE’s operations across different regions and markets.

Vera joined floLIVE after many years at Amdocs – a global leader of Business Support Systems for mobile operators. In her recent role, Vera led the development and delivery of Amdocs Digital Brand Product, Optima. Vera holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Saratov University.

Prior to Saban Ventures, Barak’s career comprised of entrepreneurial and operating roles, ranging from building an early-stage company into a market leader to a senior leadership role within a large, global corporation. His experience also includes venture capital investment and various executive and non-executive board positions. Earlier in his career Barak served as an Executive Vice President at Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) and was CEO of ClearForest, which was acquired by TRI. As part of his commitment to the Israeli tech scene, Barak co-founded SOSA, a hub for entrepreneurs, service providers, and executives involved in Israel’s start-up scene. Barak earned an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University.

Boaz Peer is a Director at Qualcomm Ventures and focuses on investments in Israel and Europe. Boaz serves on the boards of Prospera Technologies, i3 Equity Partners, Wiliot, AnyVision, CoreTigo and CyberX. Before joining Qualcomm Ventures, Boaz led Qualcomm business development in Israel and Europe in various domains such as mobile, automotive and IOT. In this role Boaz has successfully built from the ground up a 3rd party ecosystem of startups collaborating with Qualcomm, from proof of concept phase to commercialization. Prior to this role, Boaz worked at Qualcomm Israel R&D center and in his last role there led its program management group.
