IoT Leader Will Describe the Essential Relationships Between Network Connectivity, Critical Infrastructure, and Physical AI Applications

FLOLIVE® , a global enabler of IoT connectivity solutions, announced that Marco Li Vigni, Flolive vice president of sales for the APAC region, will deliver the presentation, “Beyond Data Sovereignty: Building Resilient Connectivity for Critical Infrastructure,” at Telecom World Asia in Bangkok, Thailand. The session is scheduled for 28 October, 2026, at 11:40 a.m. Telecom World Asia takes place 27 and 28 October at the Centara Grand Hotel and Convention Centre in Central Bangkok.

In his remarks, Li Vigni will describe the growing operational and compliance challenges that utilities and other critical service providers face when adopting smart metering and other AI-
related applications. The session will dive into the role the network plays in optimizing performance, maintaining security postures, meeting compliance mandates, and delivering projected economic benefits. The presentation will utilize real-world examples of how utilities are successfully leveraging their network infrastructures to ensure their Physical AI applications are meeting expectations.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen increased urgency among utilities and other agencies in adopting AI-centric services to improve efficiency. While the expected benefits of these services are substantial, the reality is that these applications may not achieve the anticipated objectives if the underlying network infrastructure is not optimized for an AI environment,” said Li Vigni. “This presentation is designed to help attendees understand the evolving network dynamics that are required to satisfy Physical AI deployments, and identify the capabilities and solutions that will best serve their specific organisations.”

Telecom World Asia is one of the industry’s largest telco-specific events, bringing together technology vendors, service providers, regulators, and enterprises to discuss the trends and issues shaping the industry. The conference draws in excess of 2,000 attendees, and includes networking opportunities, educational programs, and demonstrations.

Flolive works with partners to deliver IoT connectivity solutions leveraging a globally distributed set of core networks and local breakouts that deliver low-latency, compliant, and secure communications across some 214 countries and regions. With access to its global IMSI library and on-SIM intelligence, Flolive partners delivering IoT services can offer instant local connectivity and compliance with data sovereignty regulations the moment a device powers on.
