Companies are finalizing a comprehensive support structure and management systems to activate the SGP.32 eSIM standard in Brazil and neighboring countries.
The new standard will be presented at Futurecom 2025.

NLT Telecom, a Brazilian operator specializing in IoT, floLIVE, a leading provider of global connectivity and network services, and TNS, a specialist in providing connectivity solutions and infrastructure as a service, announce a partnership to promote the use of eSIMs with the new GSMA standard, SGP.32, in the Latin American IoT market. The solution, developed to meet the specific demands of the Internet of Things (IoT), aims to simplify device connectivity on a large scale, reducing logistical and operational costs for companies across various sectors. According to the companies, the Latin American market, due to its size and diversity of operations, demands reliable solutions from suppliers with global experience, enabling the integration and scalability of connectivity solutions with ease and cost-effectiveness.
The joint initiative also includes multi-IMSI solutions, SIM and APN-level customizations, for seamless and independent transitions of connected devices, and eSIM orchestration tools with unified controls. “With this partnership, we’re providing the Brazilian and Latin American markets with high-quality IoT hyperconnectivity via the vast global network formed between the world’s leading MNOs and MVNOs. This allows for massive device connections on a continental scale, with remote management and simplified control. This helps reduce logistics costs and increase operational results for each customer, while always meeting local compliance requirements,” said André Martins, CEO of NLT. The solutions will be presented at the 30th edition of Futurecom, booth NLT E017, Telcomp Arena, from September 30th to October 2nd, in São Paulo.
Since 2023, the collaboration between NLT and floLIVE has enabled Brazilian companies to easily access local cellular networks worldwide, thanks to floLIVE’s global infrastructure, and foreign companies to operate in Brazil through integration with NLT as a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE).
“We are excited to work with our partners in Brazil to introduce floLIVE’s full range of IoT connectivity and infrastructure solutions for MVNOs, MNOs, and enterprise IoT customers,” said Bill Wark, floLIVE’s Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas. “We are excited to offer SGP.32 to our Brazilian customers, and are eager to demonstrate how floLIVE’s full portfolio, including our global IoT core network, management platform, multi-IMSI, multi-carrier and multi-country service offerings, and local breakout regulatory compliance solutions satisfy the evolving needs of a very sophisticated market.”
Ensuring more device autonomy and increased operational security, eSIM SGP.32 is a highly anticipated standard developed by the market, having been developed by the GSMA (an international association representing more than a thousand operators worldwide) to meet the specific needs of IoT applications, eliminating limitations of standards developed for other purposes. The standard is currently undergoing final approval by the GSMA and is expected to be released before the end of 2025. The solutions developed by NLT and floLIVE will be deployed for their first customer, TNS, a global provider of infrastructure as a service (IaaS), with a presence in more than 60 countries and a growing presence in Brazil and Latin America.
According to Alexandro Araújo, head of Latam at TNS, the partnership with NLT and floLIVE will boost the company’s commercial results. “This new solution enhances our service offering in Brazil and other countries,” said Araújo. “The ability to easily deploy and manage all types of IoT devices without the need for local intervention is a major advancement for the global market. The complete solution developed by NLT and floLIVE, with an excellent network core, connectivity management platform, SIM, eSIM, and multi-IMSI technologies, as well as agreements with operators, equipment approval, and SIM application programming, gives us the confidence and flexibility necessary to continue investing in our growth trajectory in Brazil and Latin America.”
